We are looking for a Solutions Engineer to work with customers and the sales team, translating business needs into integrations on Ruach’s SMS, WhatsApp and voice platforms.

About the role
You will be the technical partner to our sales team and our customers, from the first discovery call through integration and go-live.
You will explain how our APIs, routes and compliance requirements fit a customer’s product, and make sure what we promise is what gets built.
Key responsibilities
Run technical discovery with prospects and translate their requirements into a clear integration plan.
Demonstrate Ruach’s SMS, WhatsApp and voice products, including the HTTP APIs, webhooks and delivery reports.
Scope and run proofs of concept, and support customers through testing, sender ID and template registration, and go-live.
Help customers troubleshoot delivery issues by reading delivery reports, logs and message traces, and escalate to the technical team when needed.
Write and maintain integration guides, example requests and answers to common technical questions.
Feed customer feedback and recurring integration problems back to the product and engineering teams.
Requirements
Hands-on experience with REST APIs and webhooks, and comfort reading and writing code in at least one language such as JavaScript, Python or PHP.
Solid grasp of how HTTP APIs, authentication and JSON payloads work, and the ability to debug integrations with tools such as Postman or curl.
Clear written and spoken communication, and the confidence to present to both technical and non-technical audiences.
Familiarity with telecom concepts such as SMS, SMPP, SIP, OTP and delivery reports is an advantage.
Experience in a customer-facing, pre-sales or support engineering role is an advantage.
You must live in or close to Kubwa, Abuja.
