Build international carrier relationships, source high-quality voice and SMS routes, and grow traffic, revenue, and margin across Ruach’s wholesale business.
Grow Ruach’s global wholesale voice network
We are looking for a driven, commercially sharp carrier relations executive to buy and sell voice and SMS routes with carriers and aggregators worldwide.
About Ruach Networks
Ruach Networks Infrastructure Limited is a licensed Nigerian telecommunications carrier headquartered in Abuja. We operate direct MNO interconnects, owned short codes, and Tier-1 international partnerships, delivering wholesale voice, A2P SMS, OTP and verification, and carrier services to businesses and carriers across Nigeria, Africa, and beyond.
We are growing our wholesale business and are looking for a driven, commercially sharp account manager to buy and sell voice and SMS routes with carriers and aggregators worldwide.
About the role
You will manage and grow Ruach’s relationships with international carriers and aggregators. On the buy side, you will source quality, cost-effective voice and SMS routes; on the sell side, you will sell our routes, including our direct Nigerian and African connections, to wholesale buyers.
You will own your accounts end to end, including rates, traffic, quality, billing, and growth.
This is a hybrid role: Monday to Thursday in the Kubwa office, with Fridays working from home.
Key responsibilities
Source and onboard new wholesale voice and SMS suppliers, including carriers, MNOs, and aggregators, with strong quality and competitive pricing.
Sell Ruach’s wholesale voice termination and SMS routes to international carriers, aggregators, OTP providers, and enterprise messaging platforms.
Manage a portfolio of carrier accounts and grow traffic, revenue, and margin month on month.
Prospect actively on carrier networks, industry platforms, LinkedIn, Skype, Telegram, WhatsApp, and at industry events.
Negotiate rates, volumes, and commercial terms, and send and update A–Z and destination-specific rate sheets to partners.
Coordinate interconnect setup with the technical team, including SIP trunks, SMPP and HTTP binds, IP whitelisting, test calls, and test messages.
Monitor quality KPIs—including ASR, ACD, PDD, and FAS for voice, and delivery rate, DLR, and latency for SMS—and act quickly on quality issues with suppliers and customers.
Handle partner onboarding documentation, including KYC, interconnect agreements, NDAs, and credit or prepayment terms.
Support monthly invoicing, CDR reconciliation, and dispute resolution with partners.
Keep the CRM up to date and report weekly on pipeline, traffic, revenue, and margin.
Requirements
OND, HND, or BSc in any discipline. Marketing, Business, Telecoms, Computer Science, or a related field is an advantage.
One to three years of experience in sales, account management, or business development—ideally in wholesale voice, A2P SMS, or telecoms.
Good understanding of wholesale voice, including CLI versus non-CLI routes, ASR, ACD, and SIP, and SMS, including A2P versus P2P, direct versus grey routes, SMPP, sender ID registration, and OTP traffic.
Existing contacts with international voice or SMS carriers and aggregators are a strong advantage.
Strong negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills, including with international partners.
Comfort with numbers, including rates, margins, traffic reports, and Excel or Google Sheets.
Self-driven, target-oriented, and responsive when working with international partners across time zones.
You must live in or close to Kubwa, Abuja.
